Last night I hosted Remedy Live for the first time and had so much fun. Funk soul band The Remedies provided the back drop to a host of amazing talents. The line up of six acts in total included beautiful soulful vocals from Wilson, poetry from Dean Atta, hiphop from XO Man and the amazing talent that is Ed Sheeran. Ed’s incredible mix of folk, soul and hiphop sounds mad but works beautifully. He’s used to delivering his set with just his voice, guitar and loop pedal – so performing with a live band was a new experience for him. Although he was surprisingly nervous backstage this didn’t show in his performance at all and he delivered an amazing show which he later described as being one of his best gigs to date. It was such a pleasure to be involved in the whole process.  From going down to rehearsals, to meeting all the different acts to actually being on stage – I loved every minute. I can’t wait to do it all again so watch this space. Pinboard Blog collaborated really well with Remedy to provide great coverage both pre and post the event.  Here's their video of Ed rehearsing for Remedy which has been doing really well on YouTube. You can see me swaying weirdly in the background! Remedy podcast with reports from the night and stings and things from moi!
